Missing Some Teeth

What are crowns?

Crowns are used to strengthen teeth that are badly broken down, have large existing fillings or have had root canal treatment. The procedure requires two appointments: 1) measuring of the crown, which is then sent off to our private laboratory to be handmade and 2) actual fitting of the crown.

Types of crowns
  • Porcelain bonded to gold

Using the strength of both materials, the porcelain is used to create a natural look while the gold provides strength.

  • Superior aesthetic crown

This crown is made with zirconium, which is tooth coloured rather than gold, and has a better appearance.
